This is because saturated fats have been linked to all kinds of ailments. They really do a number on your body, and can increase your risk of heart disease and stroke. And since people who are suffering from arthritis are already at a higher risk for heart disease, it’s best to skip the saturated fats.
And look on the bright side: when you skip on products with a lot of saturated fats, you’re also avoiding a lot of dairy which, as we stated earlier, can also worsen the pain from arthritis. So it’s like killing two birds with one stone.
