2. On Your Back
People who sleep on their backs usually snore very loudly at night, making this a somewhat disliked sleeping position. At the same time, this posture is probably one of the healthiest. It’s especially good if you have back problems and can even give you some neck pain relief. This posture probably puts the least stress on your joints, as the mattress supports most of your body. Even better, you should also sleep on your back if you want to look younger for longer. This position causes fewer fine lines and forehead wrinkles, as nothing is pressing against your face.
3. On Your Left Side
This sleeping position, sometimes called the ‘log, is actually very good for your health. It reduces heartburn and prevents neck pain and back pain. For women, though, there is a catch. The breasts aren’t very well-supported, which eventually can lead to sagging breasts. However, pregnant women would do well to sleep on their left side, as the posture stimulates blood flow to the uterus.
