Two years after enrolling in the military, Presley started his music career with some of his most commercially successful work. He would go on to become one of the most successful artists of all time, with hits like Rock Around The Clock and Jailhouse Rock.
9. German Prisoners React While Viewing Films of The Concentration Camps
Most understandably, a lot of people weren’t too happy with the German soldiers after World War II. A lot of countries even took them as war prisoners.
In this photo, we see a group of these war prisoners watching footage of what really went on in the concentration camps. The soldiers, completely oblivious to what was the true intention behind these camps, are completely devastated by the footage.

The Beatles are arguably one of the most influential bands in the 20th century. They released hit album after hit album and their shows always attracted incredibly large crowds no matter where they went. This photo depicts them during their tour for the album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, which is one of their most iconic and most successful albums of all time.
They would later go on to write some of the most iconic and successful songs of all time. Notable examples of this are Yellow Submarine and Let it Be.
