9. Persistent Heartburn
Heartburn is a very common problem that you will most likely experience at least once in your life. However, when the heartburn is persistent and doesn’t go away for a long period of time (such as longer than 3 weeks) that’s when you need to start asking questions.
Persistent heartburn can be a symptom of oesophago-gastric cancer. It’s quite probable that it’s nothing to worry about, but it’s never a bad idea to see your doctor when in doubt.
10. Depression and Stomach Pain
This might sound like a weird combination of symptoms, but if your experience depression and persistent stomach pain at the same time, it’s possible that’s a sign of pancreatic cancer.
It isn’t likely, unless your family has a history with this disease, so it’s best not to worry too much about it. Once again though, a visit to the doctor is never a bad idea when something feels off.
11. Shortness of Breath
Cancers that are in or near your lungs can make you feel short-winded and breathless. This is caused by the cancer blocking your air tubes, making it harder for your lungs and airway to work properly. It’s a very common symptom for multiple forms of cancer, like breast cancer, ovarian cancer and liver cancer.
